The Fool is inspired by the Tarot Card, hand drawn with Sakura Micron Archival Ink Pen and Pencil. I drew this the summer my best fur friend, Rosco, died after 15 years of being by my side. That same summer, our garden had a two headed Sunflower sprout up, and we nicknamed it "The Gemini Sunflower". It was my last summer living in a yurt, but I didn't know it was the end of that season for me yet. This tarot card represents new beginnings, improvisation, and faith in the universe. For me, this was a period of my life where I could sense change, I felt my dog's presence with me carrying me through, and the magical sunflower was a good omen of things to come.
